The joyful advisory firm
Now for the second video in a two-part series on the business benefits of joy. The phrase was coined by Richard Sheridan, author of Joy, Inc., a book which describes his experiences at Menlo Innovations in Michigan.
In the first video, Richard explained how he transformed the culture at Menlo, by “removing the fear and ambiguity that traditionally makes a workplace miserable”. The changes made have had benefits for both staff and customers, and they’ve also improved the bottom line.
So, what can other firms and other sectors learn from what happened at Menlo? Is it possible, for example, to build a joyful financial advice firm?
